The short answer is yes, with some caveats specifically for Teslas.

For Tesla owners: you can use an adapter that will allow you to charge your Tesla with a universal J1772 charger.

For non-Tesla owners: your vehicle will have a J1772 charging port included for Level 1 and Level 2 charging.

Another point to consider is whether or not you'd like to have a smart charger. Many innovative charging options are available with wi-fi and Bluetooth functions - allowing you to customize factors such as optimal charging time. Some EV owners prefer charging stations that do not have connectivity because of their simplicity and ease of install.

As many tried-and-true charging options are on the market, we recommend reading customer reviews and asking your electrical professional what the best unit is for your charging needs!
